The Bright Idea That Can Increase Your IQ
1 April 2016
Recent studies have revealed that exposure to LED lights can increase intelligence.A series of tests involving two groups of guinea pigs followed bytwo groups of ratsshow that those exposed to LED lighting (group A) as opposed to halogen (group B) were found to complete simple tasks more effectively.Ten tests were completed over a 5 week period. By the final week, the LED-controlled group completed tasks 3-times faster than the halogen-controlled group. The continual rise in performance by Group A has led to scientists proclaiming that LED lighting can also impact a human’s IQ, efficiency and ability to solve problems. One of the tests required both groups of rats to fit a 23,000-piece jigsaw of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. While Group B failed to complete the task, Group A had completed it in just under 12 minutes. The initial concept of LEDs improving cognitive ability arose from an observation made by office manager Simon Evans who noted that colleagues sat under newly-fitted LED lights were working quickly and more effectively than those situated under older fluorescent tubes.“While Caroline and Ash - who sat under the halogen lights before they were fired - would spend most of their day talking or away from their desk, Chris and Jack - who sit under our new LEDs lights - were doing the work of 10-people combined” remarked Mr Evans. This discovery means that LED lighting has another significant benefit on top of being energy saving, economical, long lasting and versatile, as it is now proven that they increase intelligence. Upon this discovery, the government has announced plans to install LED lighting in the House Of Lords. At LED Hut we ran our own controlled test involving slacking employee Dave over a 5 week period, with the results proving to be quite remarkable….
