The two year partnership sees the Greater Manchester-based organisationsjoin forces to help spread the word of energy-saving LED lighting. The deal involves sponsorship of Salford City shirts and advertising hoardings across Moor Lane, with future community-based activites in the pipeline. The 'Ammies', who are co-owned by Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, achieved promotion last season after storming to the Division One North title. Preparations for the Northern Premier Division start on the 13^th July with a friendly against Manchester United Under 21s at Moor Lane. Like Salford City, LED Hut have enjoyed their own successes in recent years, becoming the UK's number 1 LED retailer. Since formation in 2011, LED Hut have sold over 4 million LED bulbs, leading to energy savings in excess of £10 million and a reduction of approximately 27,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
