What Have Chris Brown, Mario Balotelli & Justin Bieber Got In Common?
- 24 Jul, 2015
Well, depending on what you want to call it, they’ve all been gliding, sliding, scooting, hovering and segwaying as they hop onto the latest craze to go viral. Self-balancing electric scooters, as they’re known on Sundays, have been taking the internet by storm, and celebrities haven't been shy when it comes to showing off their skills: This relatively new technology has yet to be given a universal name. It’s also referred to as a Segway, hoverboard, electric skateboard and balance board. As you can see in the video, it’s a nifty piece of kit. It takes little time to master, and when you do you can hit speeds of up to 10mph.
We can only speak for our own version, the SmartGlider, but we’ve had a load of fun trying it out in the office. And it certainly makes going from A to B a lot more interesting (commuters out there take note…). It can tackle inclines of 20°, only takes 1-2 hours to charge, and weighing just 13kg it’s pretty light and easy to transport. So if you fancy spinning like Chris Brown or gliding like Balotelli, nip on over to our online store and gets yours today with free delivery and £20 off.
